Cuba Libre – a Cold War mission
Our largest indoor room and a true all-rounder – no history quiz required.
The Cuban Missile Crisis sets the scene for Cuba Libre: a military atmosphere, rising tension and a mission that can only be completed with good teamwork. Before anyone reaches for a history book, there is no need. You do not have to memorise dates, politicians or Cold War facts to play.
Our largest classic room
Cuba Libre can be booked for three to six players and is our largest indoor escape room. For groups of five or six, it is usually the first room we recommend.
The extra space and varied challenges mean that everyone can play an active part. That is, as long as your team tells each other what you have found – a key forgotten in someone’s pocket can bring even the best strategy to a halt.
What kind of challenges can you expect?
Cuba Libre is varied and complex, but it is not one of our most difficult rooms. We rate it at around 6 out of 10.
You will need to search, connect clues, think logically and communicate well. No single skill is enough on its own – but the different strengths within your team can complement each other perfectly.

A military atmosphere, without the horror
The room contains military objects and metal helmets. You can put them on during the game or use them afterwards for a memorable team photo. This gives the room a bolder, more military feel, which is why we also like to recommend it for bachelor or stag parties.
That certainly does not mean Cuba Libre is only for men. Women’s groups, mixed teams, families and school groups all play it regularly and enjoy it. Despite the military theme, the room is not bloody, frightening or horror-based.
Why do we call Cuba Libre our all-rounder?
Because, when the group size is right, it can work for almost any team. It is accessible for beginners, still entertaining for more experienced players, comfortable for larger groups and creates plenty of situations that require genuine cooperation during company events.
