Which escape room is right for your group?
A quick, mobile-friendly guide to the games at TRAP Konstanz.
A pirate adventure, the Cuban Missile Crisis, a Renaissance mystery, a darker horror setting, an interactive board game or a magical outdoor mission?
The “best” room is not necessarily the right one – the right game is the one that suits your group. Follow the seven questions to find your mission.
Visiting as a family or with children?
Pirate Bay, Dschumanji and Aurora’s Magic Cube are the most obvious choices. Children can join once they can read and write confidently. Pirate Bay is a classic pirate-themed escape room, Dschumanji is an unusual interactive game, and Aurora is an outdoor mission lasting around two hours.

Pirate Bay, Cuba Libre and Dschumanji are good places to start. All three offer varied, easy-to-follow challenges and require no specialist knowledge. In Pirate Bay and Dschumanji, you can also decide for yourselves when you want a hint and how much help you would like.
Looking for the biggest challenge?
Da Vinci’s Secret is currently our most demanding room. The bright and welcoming Renaissance setting is combined with tougher puzzles and a little more general knowledge. Based on our experience so far, around 40 per cent of teams complete the room within the time limit.

Nightmare is the best match. Low lighting, horror-themed scenery and a few unpleasantly realistic details create plenty of tension. However, there are no actors, no physical contact, no strobe lighting and no extreme scares. Horror fans may find it fairly mild; very nervous players will probably find it exciting enough.

Cuba Libre is our largest classic indoor escape room and can be booked for three to six players. The Cuban Missile Crisis provides the setting, but fortunately we will not test you on historical dates. It is our all-rounder for families, groups of friends, company events and stag parties.

Aurora’s Magic Cube takes you on an outdoor mission through Konstanz lasting around two hours and covering roughly two kilometres. We provide the backpack, iPad, special objects and, of course, the magic cube. With two complete game sets, two teams can even start at the same time and compete against each other.

Our five indoor games can accommodate up to 23 people at the same time: 6 in Cuba Libre, 5 in Da Vinci’s Secret, and 4 each in Pirate Bay, Nightmare and Dschumanji. For companies, school groups and larger parties of friends, we divide the participants between several games.
